We are looking for an individual to partner with us our Marina Farmers' Market every Sunday. It is located at 215 Reservation Rd. in the Grocery Outlet parking lot.
Available shifts for volunteers:
- 9:00am-10:30am
- 10:30am-12:30pm
- 12:30pm-3:00pm
Responsibilities include:
-Working with the Market Managers to set-up or pack-up chairs/tables/tents/market signage.
-Hang out at our info booth to give out recipe booklets, lifestyle tips, and other various handouts.
-Assist Market Managers with accepting and distributing EBT & Market Match benefits.
We are looking for someone who:
-Can commit to coming to their shift on time, ready to go, every week
-Is interested in serving their community
-Is comfortable reaching out to customers and answering questions
-Can lift up to 50 lbs
-Is comfortable sitting or standing for long periods of time

Description
Everyone’s Harvest is a non-profit that brings people and healthy food together. We run the Marina, Pacific Grove, and Alisal Certified Farmers’ Markets for the benefit of farmers and consumers alike. Everyone’s Harvest strongly believes everyone deserves the right to fresh, healthy, organic produce supplied by our local region and that free public events are necessary to strengthen a community. In 2002, Everyone’s Harvest started when five women noticed the lack of local, fresh, organic produce in Marina. Together, they decided to start the Marina Certified Farmers’ Market.

Everyone’s Harvest is always looking for nice, reliable, motivated and enthusiastic volunteers. We sincerely thank our volunteers for all of their hard work--without their efforts and commitment, many Market events and activities would not be possible!
Becoming a volunteer with Everyone’s Harvest will give you an opportunity to meet small-scale family farmers and local vendors, learn what it takes to put on a Certified Farmers’ Market and connect with your local community.
