The Y needs amazing and motivated volunteers! The 38 th Annual Run in the Parks will take place on Monday, July 4 th. This proud community tradition in Laguna Niguel features a 5K run/walk, 10K run, dog walk, and children’s races with proceeds benefiting the Y’s scholarship program.
We are seeking energetic, upbeat and hardworking volunteers to help in the following ways:
Course Marshall (20 volunteers from 6:30am-10:00am): Course Marshalls are positioned throughout the course to ensure that runners are headed in the right direction and any potential hazards are avoided. These volunteers get to see all the action!
Water Station Attendant (20 volunteers from 6:30am-10:00am): Water Station volunteers have an exciting day on the front lines of the race! They help keep people hydrated.
Registration Assistants (5 volunteers from 6:00am-9:30am): Registration is a key part to race day. Hundreds of participants come to sign up on race day and pick up shirts/goodie bags. Volunteers help process registration forms and guide runner out to events.
Post-Race Events (5-7 volunteers from 7:00-9:30am): Looking for a friendly and energetic group to assist with after race activities (i.e. food, awards)
Clean Up (5-10 volunteers from 9:30-11:00am): Looking for volunteers to assist the Y with cleaning up after the race
