Secret Shoppers Needed!

ORGANIZATION: Leukemia & Lymphoma Society - North Carolina Charlotte Chapter

We are looking for volunteers to Secret Shop with our retail fundraising partners!

Local stores help collect donations by asking customers at check-out if they would like to donate to LLS. To ensure that these stores are actively participating in the fundraising campaign, we assign volunteers to Secret Shop and go through the check-out line to pay for their assigned purchase.

If the cashier asks if the volunteer would like to donate, the volunteer is instructed to thank to cashier, let him or her know that they are an LLS Secret Shopper and give the cashier a gift card as a reward. If the cashier does not ask the volunteer to donate, the volunteer is instructed to explain that they are a secret shopper, thank the cashier for his or her efforts, remind the cashier to ask every customer if they would like to donate and let them know that we will be back to Secret Shop again in the near future.

For more information about Secret Shopping, or if you would like to volunteer to be a Secret Shopper, please contact Hannah Carr at (704) 705-1826 or hannah.carr@lls.org

Mission Statement

The mission of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

We work tirelessly to find cures and ensure patients can access the lifesaving treatments they need. When someone experiences the fear and uncertainty of a blood cancer diagnosis, we provide hope, compassion, education and support. Our impact is felt beyond blood cancer. The breakthrough treatments we helped advance for blood cancers are now improving the lives of people affected by many types of cancer.

Description

Volunteers are our partners in the crusade to end cancer.

In 2017, LLS volunteers made a significant impact while selflessly dedicating their time and talent to achieve our mission. With countless ways to engage, from fundraising to providing patient support, our volunteers are changing the landscape of cancer.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's South Carolina chapter was founded in 1981 to serve residents who have been touched by one of the blood cancers: leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. The chapter serves the entire state of South Carolina with the main office in Columbia and satellite offices in Greenville and Mt. Pleasant.
