Summer Lunch Bunch is a literacy and nutrition program for children, which also offers Free summer meals and services to parents. (June 27th - August 17th)
We provide free, nutritious lunches to all participants, along with expanded learning opportunities for children to help offset summer learning loss. The Summer Lunch Bunch offers a variety of academic enrichments for children, including literacy-activities, games, special guests and storytelling activities. Also assistance is needed to maintain the Summer Lunch Bunch garden plots.
Flexible volunteers are needed to asist with any of the following: Daily set-up, daily participant registration, participate in enrichment activities, help distribute box lunches to kids and their parents 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday- 10:30 am - Daily (Set-up)
- 11:00 am - 11:55 am (Activities)
- Noon - 12:45 pm (Help serving daily box lunches)
- 12:45 pm - 1:15 pm (Clean up / Straighten up)
This opportunity is located at St. Patrick's Hall, 64 Pearl Street in Enfield, CT.
*The Summer Lunch Bunch will be (open) and serving lunches on Monday, June 3rd.
*The Summer Lunch Bunch will be (closed) on Tuesday, July 4th in observation of the (Independence Day) Holiday

Description
ERfC (Educational Resources for Children, Inc.) is a private, non-profit 501(c)3 charitable organization established in 1994 to provide quality out-of-school time programs for children and their families in Enfield, CT.
ERfC operates Before & After School Centers for students in grades K-8, all located in Enfield Public Schools. ERfC Before & After School Centers are licensed by the CT Office of Early Childhood Education. The After School Centers provide academic support, enrichment, and recreational activities from 3-6 PM Monday through Friday.
