The loss of independence experienced as seniors give up driving is devasting. Getting to doctor appointments, the grocery, the beauty salon and running basic errands becomes overwhelming. As a volunteer you commit to a 3 hour a month committment to drive a senior to these types of appointments. These are seniors who don't require a wheelchair and can get in and out of your car easily.

JFCS offers programming and services dealing with issues of family, work, education, seniors, immigrants and refugees. We offer a sliding fee scale so that our services are available to everyone. Just as the seasons change, so do circumstances throughout a person's life, and we are here to help.
