Ready to kick-off Summer 2016?!
KSCS, Hurricane Harbor and the North Texas Food Bank are partnering up to give families a fun summer-kick off and help feed children in need throughout North Texas. Summer is the hungriest time of year and we need your help to feed children in need! NTFB will be stationed right at the entrance and NTFB volunteers will assist by collecting cans and cash from attendees.
KSCS is generously giving all volunteers up to 4 free Hurricane Harbor passes for themselves and their family. Passes can only be used on the day of, June 10th before or after your shift.
So, let’s start our summer with a big SPLASH by helping children in need!
Age: Volunteers must be 13 years of age or older. All volunteers that 15 years of age or younger must be accompanied by a parent for the entire shift.

Founded in 1982, the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) is a Dallas nonprofit hunger relief organization that distributes donated, purchased and prepared foods through a network of more than 262 Food Assistance Partners in 13 counties. As a member of Feeding America, we support the nutritional needs of children, families and seniors through education, advocacy and strategic partnerships.
We strive to be the best nonprofit. Including access provided through SNAP application services, NTFB provides access to nearly 175,000 nutritious meals every day. ReThink Hunger is our three-year initiative to provide healthier food, develop new ways to extend our reach and improve the lives of those we serve.
