Walk Like MADD
Volunteer to provide valuable service to Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD)

Mothers Against Drunk Driving is working towards our major Walk Like MADD event at the Philadelphia Zoo on Sunday September 25th.

There are multiple roles for volunteers to assist with the build-up to this program that we wish to speak to you about. But first we want to speak with you about your interests and time commitment you wish to make to help facilitate an opportunity that helps and also keeps you enthused!

Many of these opportunities can be completed from home, following an orientation with Mothers Against Drunk Driving that allows us to also answer all of your questions before volunteering with us.

Please either call Malcolm Friend, Program Manager, MADD Pennsylvania State Office
(610) 825-4902 x 4269

OR email Malcolm.Friend@madd.org

OR respond through VolunteerMatch, please include a daytime contact number where you may be reached.

Mission Statement

Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) has a new five year agenda to advance and achieve our mission and is dedicated to saving more lives and supporting more victims. This strategic direction moves us further down the road to fulfilling our ultimate goal: No More Victims.

Our new vision is a nation without drunk and drugged driving

Our new mission is to end drunk driving, help fight drugged driving, support the vicims of these violent crimes and prevent underage drinking.

To achieve this we need YOUR help, and that of many volunteers in the Greater Philadelphia area... and indeed across the nation.

Description

MADD was founded in 1980 by a small group of women who gathered together for one reason: each one had lost a child because of a drunk driver. Today, it is the largest crime victims' assistance organization in the world with more than 3 million members and supporters. MADD is more than just moms. It is also dads, students, victims and concerned citizens of all ages making a difference where we live and work.
