Newark Parks Foundation is looking for instructors to teach beginners to bike a pump track course (Pleasanton Bike Park). The goal is to help youth develop bike skills as part of the Foundation's Bike Program (http://newarkparks.org/bike-program/) and to grow our support for a bike park in the Tri-City area (Fremont, Union City, Newark). If you have experience riding at Bike Parks and think you'd be an excellent instructor, we'd love to hear from you.

Description
Newark Parks Foundation will support new and existing parks, open spaces, and recreation in and around Newark, California, for the enjoyment and benefit of the citizens of Newark. The Foundation will do so by:
- Organizing volunteers to build and/or maintain parks and park amenities/structures.
- Organizing user groups to identify the community’s unmet recreational needs.
- Applying for grants to support the Foundation’s capital projects and, as needed, right-of-way leases.
- Identifying partnerships between surrounding cities and park districts.
- Publishing articles to generate public support for parks and to educate the general public on the state of parks and recreation.
- Sponsoring/organizing park support events, including trash pickup events.
