What better way to celebrate National Trails Day than with a volunteer day and property showcase of one of Fresno's hidden gems? Camp Pashayan is located immediately east of Highway 99 off Herndon and Weber Avenues and features nearly a mile of river bank that provides great opportunities for picnics, bird watching, and fishing. Join our AmeriCorps Watershed Stewards Program members as they lead a morning of activities beginning with an 8:00am guided nature walk followed by invasive weed removal and river cleanup. Additionally there will be a geocache hunt as well as a macroinvertibrate presentation and fish print making for kids. A light brunch, water, and all tools will be provided! All individuals and groups are welcome.
