The Bogus Basin Mountain Discovery Camp program is now in its ninth year and aims to get kids outside, active, and learning about the wonders of nature in the Boise National Forest. Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area is seeking exceptionally passionate individuals to help engage hundreds of local youth in this critically important environmental education program. With your help local kids will spend their days studying mysterious animal tracks, exploring mountain ecology, learning important survival skills, hiking to the top of Mores Mountain, and making new friends. Come join us!

Mountain Discovery Camp is a weekly day camp that runs Monday through Friday. 9 weeks are offered throughout the summer from June 7 through August 19. We are seeking dedicated and excited volunteers to help throughout the summer whenever you can. Mondays and Wednesdays demand a greater need for adult leaders due to the nature of specific activities.

We need at Fort Boise Community Center at 9am each day of camp. Transportation is provided by the City and we return to The Fort by 4pm. Volunteers should be capable of hiking around the forest for the day.
