Rescuing Leftover Cuisine is a nonprofit food rescue organization dedicated to reducing food waste and feeding the hungry. We are currently looking for Lead Rescuers to join our leadership team. A Lead Rescuer is a passionate and dedicated volunteer who commits to leading one event, once per week, the same evert every week. Training is provided.

Help rescue healthy roasted vegetables and protein that would have been thrown away and bring it to a nearby homeless shelter to feet those who need it the most! This opportunity is available in both Midtown East and the Village.

Rescuing Leftover Cuisine (RLC) is a nonprofit organization committed to fighting food insecurity and preventing wasted food. We have cultivated a network of dedicated food rescuers who bring food directly from our food donors to nonprofit recipients, letting neighbors help neighbors while reaping the environmental and economic benefits of reducing wasted food. Founded in 2013, our simple, but elegant model has saved over 8 million pounds of food since our inception.
