Volunteer with the Central New York Chapter of the Autism Society of America at a Concessions Stand at the 2016 Syracuse Hancock International Airport Air Show and a percentage of the booth's proceeds are donated back to CNY ASA. Admission and meals are free for volunteers. Volunteer for as little as a couple of hours on either Saturday or Sunday or for a longer duration and/or both days! CNY ASA is committed to assisting families affected by autism, reaching out to the community to promote awareness, disseminate information and provide educational and recreational programming. CNY ASA seeks to combine efforts with complementary organizations to positively impact the lives of individuals living with an autism spectrum disorder.
Description
CNY ASA is a growing network of parents, family members, and professionals working together to bring about positive changes within the world of autism. We provide support to parents, families and individuals affected by autism. CNY ASA offers monthly meetings featuring guest speakers and networking opportunities, annual family-oriented events, recreational programming, information and guidance regarding various therapies, CPSE/CSE issues and community resources, insight and education, and a website and electronic newsletter of relevant workshops and conferences.
