Dog Ambassadors are the people who take foster dogs out and about for an hour or two and then drop the dogs back off to their foster parents. It is the ideal life, all the fun events without the commitment of taking care of a dog full time.
This position is great for anyone who currently lives in housing that doesnt allow dogs, or people who want to help out but simply can't foster.
Ambassadors can be "assigned" to a dog or they can branch out and work with several different foster dogs. But the great thing is the schedule is completly up to them!
If you arent sure about fostering yet, then try being an ambassador, as long as you love animals I guarentee you'll have fun!

You can foster if you already have pets, if you have kids, if you work full-time, or if you are a student. We think there’s a perfect foster dog for everyone, and we will do our best to find one who fits well with your schedule, lifestyle, pets, and family. Many people don’t know that fostering is an option, so we hope you’ll share this information with friends, co-workers, neighbors, relatives, and other people you know who love animals, are responsible and committed, and want to help make the world a better place.

"WE RESCUE AND REHABILITATE DOGS WHO ARE AT RISK IN OVERCROWDED SHELTERS, INCLUDING MANY WHO HAVE BEEN VICTIMS OF CRUELTY AND DOG-FIGHTING, AND THEN PLACE THEM IN PERMANENT HOMES. WE ALSO ADVOCATE FOR PIT BULLS THROUGH EDUCATIONAL AND OUTREACH PROGRAMS AND WORK TO BUILD A COMMUNITY THAT SUPPORTS THE BOND BETWEEN DOGS AND PEOPLE."
