Come join us for a summer of fun! Assist campers of all ages and ability levels with a variety of activities including music, sports and games, arts and crafts, swimming, and more at our outdoor summer day camp on the shores of Silver Lake in Everett, WA.
Camp takes place from 10am-3pm, Monday through Friday during July and August. Volunteers are requested to make a minimum commitment of 2 weeks (for instance, the 1st and 3rd week of July), as well as attend an orientation and 2 days of volunteer training.
Volunteers are age 14+ and are typically high school or college age - but anyonewho is young at heart is welcome to join us! As long as you have a positive attitude and are excited to be there, you will fit right in!
Skills that are not required, but are greatly appreciated:
- experience working with kids or youth (our campers are ages 5-21)
- experience working with kids or adults with disabilities or special needs
- any level of experience with or exposure to sign language
- special knowledge of music, sports/games, or arts and crafts
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- willing to be silly and have fun!

Camp Patterson provides a fun and safe environment for children ages 5-21. The focus of the camp is children with disabilities, but all children are encouraged to be involved. We provide games, sports, arts and crafts, water activities, and field trips for all children. Camp Patterson provides this opportunity to the community so all types of children can be involved in a rewarding experience for the summer.
