The ninth annual Jane Austen Festival at Historic Locust Grove is coming up on July 14, 15 and 16, 2016. We need many volunteers to make our event a success and would greatly appreciate your help! All volunteers (who serve 2 hours or more) get free admission to the festival (although some Festival events will still have a small fee) and light refreshments. We have shifts throughout the day starting at 9:00 and going until 5:45 (Friday night, July 14th, shifts start at 5:00 p.m. and go until 9:00 p.m.). Each shift is 2 to 2 1/2 hours (Friday night, July 14th, has different shift times). If you have any questions, please email, Elle Rich, at janeaustenfestivalvolunteers@gmail.com.

We are fans of Jane Austen either through her books or many movie adaptations. We formed in July of 2007 and have not looked back! We now have approximately 100 members. We meet monthly at Historic Locust Grove and have wonderful programs (see Calendar of Events) and serve afternoon tea at the conclusion of each meeting.
