About RIDE THERAPY PROJECT

Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide those with the symptoms of PTSD/Depression an alternate means of coping with their struggles that may otherwise lead them down a darker path. We want to let them know they are not alone and there are people out there that want to help.

Description

Located in the Black Hills of South Dakota, the project was started by a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and his wife. Us at the Ride Therapy Project understand that there are many wounds that cannot be seen. Sometimes a person just needs an outlet to gain control of their thoughts. That is what this project was designed for. There is something to be said about sitting on the seat of a motorcycle, pointing it down the road and twisting the throttle. Those who know the feeling know the theraputic nature of the open road with the wind blowing in your face.

That is our goal! To give people the opportunity to find something that can help them heal. Give them an alternative to heading down a darker path.

Through donations from generous supporters we will purchase a motorcycle or atv for veterans in need of Ride Therapy.
