On Saturday, May 12th from 10AM to 1PM, YOU can help KYRS reach 10,000 people in Spokane. We are doing a literature drop to inform residents of Spokane about all that KYRS has to offer. The informational piece looks similar to those you get on your doorstep from candidates. Ours will be a glossy, informative handout that lets people know all about KYRS and how to get involved.
Bring friends! Meet other KYRS volunteers and staff at 10AM at the Coeur d’Alene Park gazebo in Browne’s Addition. Grab a donut and coffee from Maya Earth, pick up your walking list (If you want to walk your neighborhood, be here on time, because walking lists will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis).

KYRS Thin Air Community Radio fills needs that other media do not, providing programming to diverse communities and unserved or underserved groups. Thin Air Radio provides a forum for neglected perspectives and discussions on important local, national and global issues, reflecting values of peace, social, economic and environmental justice, human rights, democracy, multiculturalism, freedom of expression and social change. Thin Air's arts, cultural, and music programming covers a wide spectrum of expression from traditional to experimental and reflects the diverse cultures Thin Air serves. Thin Air Radio strives for spontaneity and program excellence, both in content and technique.
Description
Thin Air Community Radio is run almost entirely by volunteers from the community, people like you who have a passion for independent music and ideas. All locally produced programs are hosted by volunteers.
