We are looking for live television production crew members to work in a multi camera television studio. If you have experience in camera operation, audio engineering, character generator operation, or floor directing, we would love to have you join our volunteer team. If you do not have experience in television production, but you have always wanted to learn, we will train you. KIXE is a fun, safe place to learn new skills, while working with a team of dedicated professionals and volunteers. KIXE is a member supported station, which relies on community volunteers to produce quality local live television for North State viewers.

The mission of KIXE is to provide high quality programming and community resources to educate, enlighten, and entertain the broad spectrum of viewers served.
Description
KIXE TV has been broadcasting Public Television to the North State for over 50 years. A non-profit television station which serves 10 counties with national PBS and locally produced programming. We broadcast more than 60 hours of educational programs for children each week. Our children’s programming focuses heavily on promotion of STEM, arts, culture, literacy, and social skill building. As a community supported public television station, the KIXE broadcast signal is available to everyone with a television regardless of income. This enables KIXE to reach a diverse demographic in the North State, including vulnerable populations who might not otherwise have access to early childhood educational opportunities.
