Do you have an extra hour or two during your week to donate to a hospice patient and their family? If so, we want to hear from you! Many local families are caring for their loved ones receiving hospice in their own home. Staff & Volunteers sometimes sit with the patient for a couple hours so that the caregiver can leave the home to run errands or even just take a break.
No hands on care required by the volunteer. You may sit with a patient and provide companionship while their caregiver is away.26 More opportunities with Elara Caring Hospice -

Running errands for patients or caregivers
Assisting in the office
Becoming a Caring Friend
Delivering Birthday Balloons to Hospice Patients
Taking your pet to visit Hospice Patients
