Help maintain safety for runners of the Ithaca Mile. Stand by barricades and prevent traffic from crossing into the race route. Confident individuals age 18 and up with ability to stand firm and work with the public to provide a safe race!

Mission Statement
The mission of the Ithaca Youth Bureau is to provide a broad cross section of recreation programs and youth services to promote the health, happiness and well-being of all residents in the greater Ithaca area.
Description
The Youth Bureau is committed to:
1) serve as an advocate for youth and families;
2) efficiently manager its designated public resources;
3) identify and serve changing recreation and youth service needs in the community;
4) foster, supplement or coordinate the activities of other existing community resources - both public and private - devoted to the welfare of youth and families;
5) actively encourage participation by all who want to, regardless of race, ethnicity, social status, gender, disability or other differences; and
6) contribute to the quality of life and sense of community in the greater Ithaca area.
