Life is a gift and no matter where you are in the journey, a unique card or other creative gift can bring joy to your day.
We like to help our hospice patients feel special by delivering or sending handmade cards from our staff. In fact we might even use a card or two FOR our staff members to brighten their day.
Creative? Enjoy putting ideas to paper to brighten up someone's day or birthday or holiday? Enjoy making cheer baskets from Pinterest? Share your talents - Make a difference.
We are open to any ideas that benefit our patients/staff. Act alone or be the leader and get your group of friends, ministry, book club, family .... to commit and make a difference.

Mission Statement
Haven Hospice is committed to providing quality care for patients faced with a life-limiting illness. The goal is to improve the quality of a person's life through pain and symptom control, emotional and spiritual support. We believe that the patient and family are intergral decision making members of the hospice team in planning and receiving care. Hospice offers an alternative to repeat hospitalizations. Hospice affirms life. It neither hastens nor postpones death, but assists the patient and family in living with a life-limiting illness. Hospice regards dying as a normal process at life's end in which we can provide dignity and comfort for the patient and loved ones.
Description
Haven Hospice reaches it's goal of supporting the patient and their families through several various disciplines. Our doctors, nurses, CNA's, social workers, chaplains, volunteers and community educators make up our caring team of individuals who know how important hospice is to not only the patient, but to the entire family.
