Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Douglas County Task Force Domestic and Sexual Assault Team. Dealing with domestic assault and sexual assault is serious business. It requires a serious commitment on our part to train you and a serious commitment on your part to attend the trainings. To become a Task Force volunteer you will need to do the following:

1- Register and attend our scheduled Orientation prior to the first day of training.
2- Register for training at the orientation.
3- Complete web-based and in-classroom training.
4- Pass a criminal background check.


To receive further information regarding specific dates of our orientation and training, please indicate your interest, and someone from our office will get back with you as soon as possible.

The Douglas County Task Force on Family Violence is committed to eradicating domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and dating violence in our community. The goals of the Task Force are to prevent, protect, and educate the community on domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking and dating violence and to hold perpetrators accountable.

Description

We are a non-residentail Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Center providing victim services. We have a 24/7 Hotline for victims and other services.
