ORGANIZATION: VITALANT California

On Friday 7/8, BloodSource will be hosting a busy blood drive at the Maidu Community Center in Roseville to collect much needed lifesaving blood. We are looking for crowd control volunteers to help greet and direct arriving blood donors. Ages 16 years+ are welcome. Must be a people person and able to stand on your feet. This is an easy way to volunteer for the summer or for school community service hours. Sorry, no court ordered requests.

Vitalant ("Vye-TAL-ent") is the nation’s largest independent, nonprofit blood services provider exclusively focused on providing lifesaving blood and comprehensive transfusion medicine services for about 900 hospitals and their patients across the U.S. Every day, Vitalant needs to collect about 5,300 blood, platelet and plasma donations to help save lives.
