Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco is currently seeking volunteers to enter surveys into our database. The survey is administered at our summer camp in Mendocino county where inner city youth spend 10 days learning about the outdoors, developing healthy lifestyles, and building long-lasting friendships. We have hundreds of youth attend our summer camp annually and we are very interested in better understanding their experience so we can make additional improvements to the program. This volunteer opporunity will help us gather data and identify trends. Its a great way to get insight into survey administration and data collection while supporting the youth of San Francisco.
This opportunity is available from May 20th - August 15th. We ask that volunteers commit to volunteering a minimum of 3 hours per week for a minimum of 4 weeks at our Don Fisher at 380 Fulton St.

Description
Part of the community since 1891, Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco (BGCSF) currently serves more than 1,800 youth (ages six-18) per day. We have more than 5,800 active members and serve more than 18,500 youth per year at 14 program sites-including eight Clubhouses located in the neighborhoods with the fewest resources, four school-based sites, one park, and Camp Mendocino - a 2,000-acre residential summer camp that provides a creative and fun outdoor experience for youth. We are open "when kids need us most" - after school, on most school holidays and during the summer. We offer safe places where young people can learn, grow, and succeed.
