Hello there!
The Coalition for Clean Air has been around since 1971 and is responsible for such important initiatives as spearheading California's original smog check program and winning the nation's first ban on "perc", a toxic dry cleaning chemical that threatens human health.
Want to help us out raising much needed funds for our programs?
Every year we host a luncheon at the LA Cathedral, where we honor Clean Air Champions for their dedication to making sure that every Caifornian gets to breathe healthy air.
And that's where you come in:
We need help with
- basic set up in the morning
- registration for guests attending the event
- assisting guests with escorting them to the correct location
and whatever else needs to happen to make the event a success.
What do you get? Hang out with a group of smart, committed, like-minded people that want to make a difference in the lives of others. Oh, and have some fun and eat a good meal while you're at it!
Check out all the "heavy hitters" that will be attending the event on our website: http://www.ccair.org/events/california-air-quality-awards/

Description
Coalition for Clean Air (CCA) was founded in 1971 and is California’s only statewide organization working exclusively on air quality issues. From creating the idea for California’s original Smog Check program in 1981 to ensuring the first national ban on the toxic dry cleaning chemical "perc" to helping pass legislation to put 1 million electric vehicles on California’s roads by 2025, CCA has paved the way for socially and environmentally responsible air policy nationally and worldwide.
