The 17th Annual Furry 5K, the yearly fundraiser for the Seattle Animal Shelter's Help the Animals Fund, is set for Sunday, June 12, 2016. Here is your chance to sign-up for a one-day volunteering opportunity that is tons of fun and extremely rewarding. This year we will require more than 150+ enthusiastic volunteers to ensure that our event at Seward Park is a huge success. JOIN US!!

Powered by your pet license, volunteers and charitable donations, the Seattle Animal Shelter adopted out more than 1500 animals into loving homes in 2017! We engage over 1200 volunteers annually who donate their time and skills by caring for SAS animals at the shelter and in their homes as foster care volunteers, promoting adoptions, community outreach and so much more!
