Be involved with a dynamic team of professionals and community members to strategially lead Healthy Beginnings down the path of financial and organizational success.
Healthy Beginnings is a non-profit that provides the most comprehensive assessment and referral servie for the health and development of every child under six years old in Central Oregon. Covering 12 kiey areas, the free screenings determine whether a child is developing appropriately for their age including identifying problems that can easily be overlooked at regular check-ups.

Mission Statement
Healthy Beginnings believes that all children should enter kindergarten healthy and prepared to learn. Our work fosters healthy, nurtured children, families and communities by bringing accessible physical, developmental and behavioral screenings to children from birth through age five.Description
Our goals are to:
1. Provide early identification of health and developmental concerns in children ages 0-5. 2. Educate parents on developmental milestones and how parents can help their children achieve them.
3. Build bridges by referring parents and children to community providers for primary health care or early childhood development services and treatment.
Children receive screening and referral in the following areas:
Hearing
Vision
Speech and Language
Concepts and Cognitive Skills
Motor Skills
Health, Safety and Immunization information
Behavior
Nutrition
Dental
Infant and Toddler Development
Car Seat Safety
Red Cross and other Community information
We have 14 screenings a year throughout Central Oregon (Bend, Redmond, Sisters, La Pine, and Sunriver). Each station is ran by a trained volunteer.
