DLL students in coding class

The Education Foundation of Sarasota County is looking for a coding or website design instructor for our Digital Learning Lab at Laurel Civic Association! Instructor should have basic coding/programming or website design/template knowledge OR willingness to learn before the class begins. Some of the programs we've used in previous coding classes are Scratch, code.org, Game Maker: Studio and Weebly. You can use any web-based or free coding/website building resource YOU know of too! If you have another idea for a Computer Science or STEM related class, please share... we are flexible and willing to work with you on the class goal.

  • Class will meet once a week on Wednesdays 10am-12pm from June 8 to July 20
  • Class should focus on creating a final product to showcase at end of summer celebration on July 27th - 5pm
  • Students are middle and high school aged - beginners to coding/Computer Science/website design
