People with a passion to help others are needed to Adopt-A-Home where adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities reside.
As an adoptive company, family, group or organization, you can:
- Plan and host/attend events for residents such as girls night, game night, bingo, community outings, movie night, and holiday parties.
- Host a fundraiser or a drive to help provide household items to be enjoyed by all. Items may include dish sets, pots and pans, tool sets, cleaning supplies, home decor, and fun activity supplies.
- Take on home improvement projects such as landscaping, cleaning, and gardening.
Adopt-A-Home commitments can be for a single day or long term.

Hattie Larlham is dedicated to providing services to children and adults with developmental disabilities. Since 1961, Hattie Larlham has provided care through community homes and long term care facilities, adult day programs, and employment services. Volunteer opportunities include Northeast Ohio and Franklin county.
