The American Liver Foundation is hosting our 15th annual Liver Life Walk of Hartford being held on Sunday, September 20th at Rentschler Field. This is a great event that brings over 2,500 people out for the day! Some of the highlights of the event is having your picture taken as you cross the finish line, or just having fun with your friends and family. We would like to ask YOU if you would be willing to participate with us as a Photographer for this charity event! Timing would be from 8:00am- 12:30pm. We would appreciate the support!

The American Liver Foundation is a nonprofit, national voluntary health organization dedicated to the prevention, treatment, and cure of hepatitis and other liver diseases through research, education, and advocacy on behalf of those affected by or at risk of liver disease. Our mission is to facilitate, advocate and promte, education, support and research for the prevention, treatment and cure of liver diseases.
Description
The Connecticut Division of the American Liver Foundation (ALF) is dedicated to addressing the needs of people in all counties within the state through education, advocacy and support. Our programs and services include support groups; information and referral; and educational seminars for patients and their families. In order to provide services and fund life-saving research, the Division hosts a variety of events and campaigns. These campaigns include our signature fund raising event; Flavors of Connecticut, Liver Life Walk, and our annual Memorial Golf Classic. Our educaitonal programs include the Love Your Liver Youth Education Program, Treatment Choices Initiative speakers bureau for those at risk or have Hepatitis C and many others.
