Creature Comfort Farm

I started the first no kill shelter in the south in 1975 and have since been through some very hard times! I've been running things myself for the last 10 years and can no longer continue without help. Property has been significantly damaged and Action for Animals no longer functions smoothly. I've depleted my personal accounts and haven't had the fundraising support to obtain donations in years.
In order to continue saving rescues and the shelter in general, I have found a generous couple who have agreed to move onto the "Creature Comfort Farm" to repair and maintain the animal sanctuary.
We need YOUR help to clear out an 1800sq ft home for the new caretakers to join and begin a huge effort for animals of the south. This home has been disrespected in the past and is in rough shape but has also been used for storage. We need people to volunteer to help us clear out the home for it to be cleaned and repaired.

Calling all animal lovers, community service groups, etc. In return you become a part of a huge effort in the animal community, a permanent member of Action for Animals, and a welcomed visitor any time. We hope to have the place cleared out by latest May 22nd if possible and will have scheduled volunteer days each weekend between now and then...if we can get the help.
