ORGANIZATION: THE PERFORMANCE PROJECT INC

Work with a wonderful costume designer, Kaylie, to create costumes and props for First Generation Ensemble's current show, "Tenderness," to be performed mid-June in Springfield, and in AUgust in Amherst! Kaylie will be working on this project between, May 5th and May 14th, and could use some collaborators. The work will take place on Amherst Collge Campus. We are looking for 1 person with experience, AND several additional enthusiastic people to be on the team! This is a great opportunity for someone seeking hands on experience in costuming! Also a great opportunity to engage in performance, community and social justice! The time commitment can span 1 day to several work sessions! If interested please contact Kaylie @ 201-757-9187

Description

The Performance Project brings people together to create theater and visual art through multi-generational collaborations. Our members participate in artistic training, inter-generational mentoring and leadership development. We claim a public voice, engage audiences in dialogue about oppression and liberation, and celebrate our humanity and connection through the arts.
