This is an opportunity in Rock Hill, SC. The Children's Attention Home is a residential program that serves children ages birth through 21 who have been removed from their homes because of abuse, abandonment, or neglect.

Our organization sustains its mission through the commitment of our volunteers and we certainly can't do what we do without them.

The Children's Attention Home is seeking volunteers to serve on our Facilities Maintenance Team. This opportunity requires a weekly visit with a flexible schedule between the hours of 8am and 5pm.

Purpose: To maintain the CAH buildings and living spaces to meet all safety standards. To present the facility in a pleasing, safe and functional manner as to enhance the resident and visitor experience.

With over 35 children in our care the facilities are always in need of upkeep. We need assistance with light repairs, routine maintenance, and much more. Are you a handyman? If so, we'd love for you to share your talents keeping our living spaces fit for our precious children.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Maintenance Experience Preferred
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and tools related to maintenance work
• Physical ability to work outside in the elements year round
• Physical ability to bend, climb, kneel, reach, stoop preferred. Physical ability to carry, lift, pull / push weighted objects
