GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This position provides support to the Healthy Start (HS) program and Program Manager. The Healthy Start is a collaboration of partner agencies offering home-based parenting education and support services to young families in east and north King County, and in south Snohomish County.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
A. Data Management and data input
- 1. Assist Program Manager (PM) to input data into YouthForce database and any pertinent Excel spreadsheets.
- 2. Work with PM to manage data, provide quality control and to work with data to provide accurate and correct data for program reporting.
B. Office Support
- 1. Complete office tasks as needed such as copying, mailing, prepping outreach materials.
C. Community Collaboration/Outreach
1. Provide research
2. Serve as spokesperson for the project.
3. Develop relationships with representative of the diverse range of geographic and ethnic communities to ensure that the project is responsive to the communities it serves.
4. Develop contacts with organizations and individuals who can assist with resource development.
D. Develop and Implement projects under the supervision of the PM
1. Clarify outcomes needed and how project supports program.
2. Complete projects in timely manner.
LENGTH OF APPOINTMENT: June through August
TIME COMMITMENT: 5-15 hours per week during regular business hours
