This Mothers' Day, give all mothers around the world a reason to celebrate! At this Education & Action event, we will learn about the issue of maternal and child survival and take a quick action to help all moms and kids survive and thrive, so the first moments are not the last.
Every year, almost 6 million kids and 300,000 mothers die, mostly from preventable causes. As high as this number is, it has been cut in half since 1990 by sustained effort by people like us. Now advocates are working to end preventable maternal and child deaths on Earth by 2035. We are working for the passage of the Reach Every Mother and Child Act to help achieve that. Help us call on our Georgia Senators to take action!
Join us to learn more about this issue and ta ke a quick action - write a letter to the editor - about this issue to raise awareness and call on members of Congress to cosponsor the bill. We are so close! Let's give all mothers a reason to celebrate!
