Position Description:
Global to Local seeks two qualified candidates for the volunteer position of Data Entry Volunteer to provide database and administrative support. The volunteers will work directly with G2L staff on various database-related projects and will help to support the work and mission of Global to Local.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Data entry for NewOrg database
- Organize digital and paper filing systems
- File hard copy paperwork
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience with data entry or similar systems,
- Available to work 2-3 hours once a week during Global to Local office hours (after initial orientation to the database there is opportunity to work flexible hours from home)
- Dependable, timely.
- Strong interpersonal and cross cultural skills
- Interest in working in a community-oriented organization
Commitment
This is an ongoing part-time volunteer position with a minimum commitment of 2 hours a week for 6 months.
Benefits
This is an unpaid volunteer opportunity. This position provides great experience working with a community-oriented non-profit organization.

Global health innovations have had tremendous impacts on fighting disease and improving health around the world. At the same time, health disparities in the United States continue to grow.
Washington State and Seattle are at the forefront of global health, yet King County has some of the worst health disparities in the United States. Could some of the innovations from the world of global health help reduce these disparities here at home?
