ORGANIZATION: Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma

The Community Food Bank is looking for volunteers for a service opportunity to help with the Annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive.

Listed below are area Post Office sites where volunteers will help us presort donated items are they are returned by letter carriers at the end of their routes. By each site is the number of volunteers needed.

CHIMNEY HILLS - 5 Volunteers 9:00-12:00 and 1:00-3:00

(91st & Sheridan)

EASTSIDE STATION- 3 Volunteers 3:00-5:30 p.m.

(31st & 129th E. Ave.)

DOWNTOWN STATION- 3 Volunteers 3:00-5:30 p.m.

(4th & Denver)

SHERIDAN STATION- 3 Volunteers 3:00-5:30 p.m.

(51st & Sheridan)

SOUTHEAST STATION- 3 Volunteers 3:00-5:30 p.m.

(46th & Memorial)

JENKINS STATION- 3 Volunteers 3:00-5:30 p.m.

(71st and Lewis)

DONALDSON STATION- 3 Volunteers 3:00-5:30 p.m.

15th & Lewis

(1423 Terrace Dr.)

REASORS-5 Volunteers- 9:00-12:00, 12:00-3:00 p.m., 3:00-5:30 p.m.

(Brookeside)

Because of the large need surrounding this event the Food Bank will be giving DOUBLE SERVICE HOURS for hours completed during STAMP OUT HUNGER

The Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma distributes food and other grocery-related items to more than 450 non-profit programs feeding the needy in our service area of 24 counties. Together we help provide the equivalent of 335,000 meals each week.
