Oklahoma City RESULTS is a movement of passionate, committed everyday people. Together, we use our voices to influence political decisions that will bring an end to poverty here in the United States and across the world. For the first time in history, we have the resources that are necessary to end poverty and make sure all kids can grow up healthy and strong, go to school, and reach their full potential. Yet 1 in 5 kids here in the United States are at risk of going hungry every night. Globally, 17,000 children under 5 will die every day from preventable causes. We have the ability to turn this around and make sure all kids can reach their full potential. Oklahoma City RESULTS is fighting to put those solutions in place. As citizen advocates, we meet with members of Congress, engage with the media, and communicate about global and local poverty in Oklahoma City. Through our advocacy we help build the foundations for independence by promoting access to education, health, and economic opportunity so that all kids have a chance to survive and thrive.
