Mission Statement
The mission of The Savannah Children's Theatre (SCT) is to inspire, educate and entertain children and families of the Coastal Empire through the experience of quality theatre both on and off the stage.
Description
Since our launch in 2004, we have worked to create a collaborative atmosphere where families can make theatre together. We have offered classes in Creative Dramatics for PreK-12th grades, Dance for Musical Theatre, Aerial Arts, and opportunities for children and guardians to perform side by side. Our theatre field trip program Let’s Put on a Play has served over 154,000 students across Georgia and South Carolina, and according to audience polls, 70% of those students experienced live theatre for the first time during those visits.
