Sometimes we just need a little extra help! AmeriCorps Senior Companions help other seniors stay in their own homes by providing friendship, assisting with light household tasks, and running errands.
Because you give family members a much needed break from the routine of daily caregiving, your help goes beyond just the senior you are working with. You truly are helping your community!
Senior Companions work in their own neighborhoods and make their own schedules. They also may receive tax-free stipends and mileage reimbursement when they meet income eligibility requirements.

Homage (formerly known as Senior Services of Snohomish County) is dedicated to promoting a community where seniors and people with disabilities are valued and honored - where their physical, emotional and social needs are met; where they can sustain their independence and remain active; and where contributions made in the past and the vital role they play in the future are recognized and celebrated. We are particularly committed to assuring that nutrition, housing, transportation, and information resources are available to anyone who needs assistance.
