Produced by Palm Springs Unified School District Foundation, this Glo-tastic 1M and 5K event is a way for the community to celebrate the fact that exercise optimizes learning, and to support our students and classrooms. This year’s Glo Run has professional paint sprayers, slip and slides, and soak zones plus 1,000 participants there to have fun! Mission Statement
The goal of the Palm Springs Unified School District Foundation is to develop long-term relationships with the business community, philanthropic and service organizations to provide sustainable financial support for the schools in the PSUSD.
Description
Operating within the District and perfectly aligned with the vision of the Superintendent and Governing Board, the PSUSD Foundation represents a strategic initiative on the part of the district to fund additional teaching efforts, ensure high-quality education, and support funding of curriculum-enhancing activities in the areas of health and wellness, science, math, technology, career and college readiness, and the arts.
