Volunteers needed 7 days a week! Share your love of art, history and Scouting. Meet people from across the country and the world. Become a member of a special team! You do not need a Scouting background to be a volunteer at the National Scouting Museum. We are looking for all kinds of people who are interested in sharing their passion for history, art and Scouting. We want volunteers who are eager to talk with our guests, share their stories and help promote the National Scouting Museum.

To preserve the legacy of Scouting and promote the movement to future generations.
Description
The National Scouting Museum is committed to preserving the rich history of the Scouting movement by collecting, organizing, intrepreting and displaying some of scouting's greatest treasures. The museum not only documents Scouting's unique influence on American culture, but also tells the story of a movement that has touched the lives of more than 110 million people. We are the only official museum of the National Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
In addition to our mission to preseve the legacy of Scouting, we are also active in offering educational and advancement based activitives for the community at large and Scouting in particular. We offer several activitives each year that are open to the public including the Israeli Scout Friendship Caravan performace and Jamboree on the Air/Internet.
