Purpose/objective: To provide young adults with academic guidance and help them hone their technical skills.
Location: New York- 85 Broad Street
Key responsibilities: -Work one-on-one or in a group setting with students who require assistance in Project Management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and experience working in project management strongly preferred
- Good oral communication and technological skills required
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
- Interest in the professional growth of urban young adults and investment in Year Up's mission
Time commitment: Must be available for at least once a week between Monday and Thursday at either 3:45 pm to 4:45 pm (preferred) or 11:30 am to 12:30 pm
Training/Support Provided: An hour- long tutor orientation will take place prior to tutoring

Description
Year Up is a one-year, intensive training program that provides urban young adults, ages 18-24, with a combination of hands-on skill development, college credits, and paid corporate internships. Our mission is to prepare urban young adults for life and work in our technology-driven society while guiding urban young adults toward successful and rewarding careers and higher education.
