Community Outreach Coordination
As a Community Outreach Coordinator, you will be building relationships and partnering with people in the community to identify areas where housing and community development solutions can intersect. This might look like engaging in a Neighborhood Revitalization (NR) program and initiating community collaboration, block cleanups, neighborhood outreach and education, and expanding NR products. You will be critical in helping meet the needs in the community by planning, coordinating, and implementing projects like Neighborhood Revitalization in our community.

Possess a sincere desire to serve others and are dedicated to Habitat’s mission
Enjoy people and have a passion for volunteerism
Have strong team building skills and are comfortable leading and/or being part of a team
Strong written and verbal communication skills

The AmeriCorps National direct living allowance up to $12,530 paid over the full 46.5 weeks of service
Education award - $5,775 upon successful completion of service

Requirements to serve at this site:
18 years of age or older
U.S. citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident
Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent (or agree to work towards one while serving)
Confirm understanding that this is a full-time volunteer opportunity and that AmeriCorps members receive a small living allowance
Driver's license required
Personal vehicle required
