Gleaners is the benefiting charity of the Widespread Panic concert on Tuesday, May 3 rd at the Filmore Theater, 2115 Woodward Ave, Detroit, MI.
Widespread Panic is supporting Gleaners by asking the attendees to bring canned/boxed food items or to make a cash donation.
We need 2-3 volunteers to assist with collecting donation at the door from 6pm - 8:30pm. Volunteers need to be at least 18 years old. You will be working with a member of the Gleaners Food Drive Team!
Volunteers can stay and enjoy the concert.

For more than 40 years, Gleaners Community Food Bank has been "feeding hungry people and nourishing our communities." Last year, Gleaners distributed 42 million pounds of emergency food to 499 partner soup kitchens, shelters and pantries in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Livingston, and Monroe counties.
Of every dollar donated, Gleaners uses 97 cents for food and food programs. One dollar provides three meals for a hungry neighbor.
