The Melanoma Research Foundation (MRF) is always looking for dedicated and energetic volunteers to engage in our mission and help us in our efforts to find a cure for melanoma!

Each year the MRF hosts 5k run/walks in communities across the country. These events drive fundraising efforts that raise much-needed money for melanoma research, education and awareness.

Melanoma is the deadliest form of skin cancer. It is the leading cause of cancer death in women ages 25-30 and the second leading cause in women ages 30-35. In the past 40 years, the rate of diagnoses has increased by 50%.

The Melanoma Research Foundation (MRF) is the largest independent, national organization devoted to melanoma in the United States. Committed to the support of medical research in finding effective treatments and eventually a cure for melanoma, the MRF also educates patients and physicians about prevention, diagnosis and the treatment of melanoma. The MRF is an active advocate for the melanoma community, helping to raise awareness of this disease and the need for a cure.
