AccentCare Hospice is looking a few dedicated individuals that are whizzes at organizing, filing, data entry, computers and/or other office duties!

Volunteers are truly the heart of hospice. And, if you've always wanted to help but weren't quite sure about visitig patients at end of life, then this opportunity may be for you. You will be helping our office staff support our field staff, in turn helping our entire staff better serve our patients and their families. Volunteers affirm life not just by speaking but by doing. They enrich their own lives by enriching the lives of others.

But you don't have to limit yourself to administrative volunteering. There are several ways to help. We need volunteers to visit or call patients and/or their families; help w/household chores or yard work; play w/children; write letters; provide bereavement support; help w/newsletters; recruit other volunteers; run errands, assist with our We Honor Veterans & Legacy programs, and by attending community outreach events.

Our patients live in nursing homes or private residences. Office volunteers may provide support at our Indianapolis office. We also have hone-based volunteering calling patients and their loved ones that you can do from home.

Volunteers are required to attend training, and must submit to a criminal background check and drug screening as part of the onboarding process. Seasons Hospice covers the cost for all necessary training, etc.
