Lend a Hand at the Friends of the Library Book Sale

This is a great opportunity for you or your group to contribute to the success of the book sale hosted by the Friends of the Library. The book sale takes place at the ARCADE LIBRARY on WEDNESDAY, MAY 4th. Proceeds from the book sale support library programs.
We're looking for volunteers to help with the set up and clean up for the book sale. Set up activities include moving boxes that are filled with books, unpacking the boxes, and sorting books onto tables. Clean up activities include repacking the books and returning the boxes to the storage area.
These activities require an ability to lift boxes that may weigh up to 40 pounds.
Specific times we need help:
Shift 1: Set up: 10:00am to 2:00pm
Shift 2: Clean up: 2:00pm to 5:45pm
Please indicate which shift you prefer. As a token of our appreciation each volunteer will be able to select 2 books for each shift worked!
