Miffy's Animal Rescue is looking for more committed, whole hearted volunteers to help care for our rescue animals.
If you have a home (rent or own) that allows dogs, cats or other kinds of animals and you are interested in caring for one of our foster animals until they find their FURever home then please contact us!
Miffy's Animal Rescue (MAR) pays for all the supplies that will be needed in order to care for your foster animal. This includes - food, vetting, leash, harness, toys, flea and tick meds as well as grooming.
While being a foster is such a rewarding job, it also comes with a lot of challenges so we are looking for people who have a lot of patience and experience with animals, especially dogs. And have the time and ability to work through any issues these animals may have so they can be adopted out.
We do require background checks and home checks but only to assure that our foster animals will be placed in a loving foster home with no history or signs of animal abuse or cruelty.

Our mission is to rescue as many homeless, abused and neglected animals as we can and place them into loving forever homes.
Description
We are an all volunteer non-profit organization that helps animals in need and educates the public about proper animal care and pet over population. We currently do not have a facility but will have one hopefully in the near future! We house our rescue animals with temporary foster families that volunteer with our rescue. We provide all of the necessary vet care, temperment testing, behavioral training that each individual animal needs to have a successful adoption.
Since we are a non-profit organization we do a lot of fundraisers! We always need volunteers to help run our fundraisers, adoption events and we always need more foster homes. We also need people who are interested in applying for grants and doing secretarial work such as answering emails and Facebook messages.
