Do you want to get involved in your community? Volunteer at Orange Literacy and work with adult English Language Learners! We are in need of a summer tutor for a High Intermediate English Class. The class is on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:15-10:45am at the Orange Literacy office. The office is located on the second floor of Carr Mill Mall in Carrboro, at 200 N. Greensboro Street, Suite C-2. The students in this class are active, motivated, and eager to learn more! No prior tutoring or teaching experience is necessary. Training is provided. Orange Literacy offers free individualized instruction for adults who want to improve their reading, writing, basic math and English language skills or to prepare for the GED. Orange Literacy matches trained volunteer tutors with adult learners.
